First Time Printer Setup

  • To begin setting up your 123.hp.com/envy7155 printer, unpack the box and remove the printer carefully from the box. Take away all the accessories from the box before discarding it.
  • Tear off all the packing materials and tapes from the surface of the printer. Inspect the sides and bottom of the printer and remove the tapes on it.

  • Extend the input tray out and move the paper width guides to its outermost extension. Stack a load of paper into the input tray and close the paper width guide.
  • Open the ink cartridge access door and wait for the carriage to move to the center of the HP Envy Photo 7155 printer. Remove the packing tapes from the ink cartridge.
  • Push the ink cartridge into its slot. Ensure that you insert the tri-color ink cartridge into the slot on the left and the black ink cartridge into the slot on right.
  • Close the ink cartridge access door. The printer will start initialization process. Install the printer software driver on your system to complete the setup process.

HP Envy 7155 – Printing A Photo

  • Before beginning the printing process, you need to load photo paper into the printer. Remove the plain paper and insert the photo paper into the 123.hp.com/envy7155 printer.
  • Extend the input tray and slide the paper width guides away to its outermost extension and load a stack of photo paper into it.
  • It is recommended to load HP Photo Paper for quality output. Close the paper width guides after loading the paper.
  • Open the photo that you wish to print and click on the File menu. Click on the Print option. If you are using a Mac, tap the Show Details button.
  • Under the Presets menu, configure various settings such as the orientation, paper size, paper type, and quality. Click on the Print button to start printing.
  • If you are using a Windows computer, open the photo and click on the File menu. Tap on the Print option and the Print Properties window will open.
  • Change the desired settings like orientation, paper source, border, paper type, quality, and color. Click Ok and then Print to start printing the photo.
  • Ensure that you set maximum DPI, take high-resolution photos, edit the photos prior printing, and use HP Photo Paper for printing quality photos.

  • Log in to the HP Instant Ink website with your account. If you don’t have an account, enroll yourself and sign in. HP Instant Ink Account page will open.

  • Switch off the printer and remove the power cord from the printer. Close all the programs running on the computer and shut it down. Turn off the router.
  • Restart all the devices. Wait for the printer to finish the warm-up process. Connect it to the network and try scanning. If the issue continues, move to next step.
  • Ensure that you have connected your 123.hp.com/envy7155 printer and computer to the same network. Do not connect the printer or computer to a guest network.
  • If you are using a wired network connection, plug out the wire from the router and connect it back to the printer. Ensure the stability of the network strength.
  • Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. Click on the Fix issues button. A list of issues and fixes will display on the screen.
  • If a green checkmark displays, it means that the printer has cleared the tests. If you see a white wrench, it means that the app has diagnosed an issue.
